This program is equivalent to 30 contact hours. This program meets 30 of the 45 required coursework hours for the ABA Technician Credential coursework requirements and will prepare candidates with a strong basic foundation in the basic concepts and principles of applied behavior analysis within the context of Autism treatment. This course is intended for workforce development to address an immediate broad service need. This course provides the foundation for the next steps in advanced education and training in ABA and Autism.

This course is approved for 3 professional development university credits through Brandman University.
This program meets 135 of the required 180 hours of coursework in order to be eligible to sit for the QASP credential examination. Please refer to the QABA website for QASP examination eligibility requirements.
Participants will learn about and understand Autism Spectrum Disorders and applied behavior analysis and will earn a certificate of completion for the Behavior Technician Level 2 program. This is for those professionals and paraprofessionals who currently provide or want to provide behavioral health treatment and professional services. The program covers applied behavior analysis and other evidenced-based behavior intervention programs, which develop or restore, to the maximum extent practicable, the functioning of an individual with pervasive developmental disorder or autism. Participants will learn to develop and implement treatment plans that utilize evidenced-based practices that have demonstrated clinical efficacy in treating pervasive developmental disorder or autism.
AUT006: Educational Requirements in the Classroom for People with Autism
Training hours: 45.0
This course is designed for those individuals who are providing support and treatment to students diagnosed with Autism. The content provides an introduction to Autism as a Spectrum Disorder. This course will also provide guidance of positive behavioral supports aimed at helping students diagnosed with Autism develop in both the classroom and their wider community. This course provides a detailed overview of the educational requirements related to children and students diagnosed with Autism. Course content introduces the IDEA act and its requirements as well as a comprehensive overview of how to run an effective IEP process and implement effective Positive Behavior Supports.
This program is equivalent to 120 contact hours and was previously titled as the "Qualified Autism Services Practitioner (QASP)" program. This coursework meets partial requirements for the QASP Credential coursework. Additional 60 hours of coursework are required including 3 hours of Ethics. Participants will learn about and understand Autism Spectrum Disorders and applied behavior analysis and will earn a certificate of completion for the ABA Associates program from the College of Applied Human Services.

EDNU9069: BCBA 3rd to 4th Task Edition Bridging Course
Training hours: 15.0
This course is an add-on to both BCBA Course 2 and 3 (3rd Task Edition through CoAHS). The purpose of this add-on course is to provide students who took the 3rd Task Edition courses 2 and 3 with the additional information provided in the 4th Task Edition BCBA Course 2 and 4th Task Edition Course 3. This add-on course ensures that your coursework qualifies under BACB requirements for the certification exam in 2015 and beyond. This course is 15 hours long and covers 10 hours of "Implementation, Management, and Supervision" and 5 hours of "Intervention and Behavior Change Considerations."
Please note that EDNU9065: BCBA 6 Ethics and Professional Conduct for Behavior Analysts is also required coursework for students who started in the 3rd Task Edition course series, but will now be testing under 4th Task Edition coursework.
