  • EDNU9060:BACB Course 1-Principles and Characteristics of Behavior

    Training hours: 45.0

    This is the first course of the BCBA 4th task Edition course sequence, offered by Brandman University, required for certification by the BACB as a BCBA. This course focuses on the basic concepts in the field of applied behavior analysis, preparing students for the application of behavioral principles in various settings.


  • EDNU9061: BCBA 2 - Behavioral Assessment, Implementation, Management and Supervision

    Training hours: 45.0

    This is the second course of the BCBA 4th Edition Task list. In this course, students learn to assess and analyze behavior in ABC format, scatter plot, and interviews, and will address issues in behavioral assessment, implementation, management & supervision of behavior analysis services.


  • EDNU9062: BCBA 3 - Experimental Evaluation, Intervention and Behavior Change Considerations

    Training hours: 45.0

    This is the third course of the BCBA Fourth Task Edition course sequence, offered by Brandman University, required for certification by the BACB as a BCBA. In this course, students learn about and be able to select appropriate experimental designs for the evaluation of interventions, including explaining the logic and benefits of single subject designs vs. group research design approaches.


  • EDNU9063: BCBA 4 - Behavior Change Procedures and Systems Support

    Training hours: 45.0

    This is the fourth course of the BCBA Fourth Task Edition course sequence, offered by Brandman University, required for certification by the BACB as a BCBA. Students will be able to identify the ultimate outcomes for the person or persons involved, identify sequential or concurrent intermediate outcomes, identify the behavior or behaviors targeted for change in observable and measurable terms, and establish positive interpersonal relationships using behavior change procedures.


  • EDNU9064: BCBA 5 - Advanced Topics in Applied Behavior Analysis and Ethics

    Training hours: 45.0

    This is the fifth course of the BCBA Fourth Task Edition course sequence, offered by Brandman University, required for certification by the BACB as a BCBA. Students will be able to identify the definition of each of the major concepts addressed and discussed in the “Intensive Specialty Topics” classes. Students will be able to correctly identify the uses and implementation of these as they are used in practical, applied situations with client populations, or with organizations/businesses for which the student may later consult or be employed.


  • EDNU9065: BCBA 6-Ethics and Professional Conduct For Behavior Analysts

    Training hours: 45.0

    This is the sixth course of the BCBA Fourth Task Edition course sequence, offered by Brandman University, required for certification by the BACB as a BCBA. In this course, students will learn concepts, interpretation, and application of the BACB's Guidelines for Responsible Conduct for Behavior Analysts and The Ethical and Disciplinary Standards.


  • EDNU9069: BCBA 3rd to 4th Task Edition Bridging Course

    Training hours: 15.0

    This course is an add-on to both BCBA Course 2 and 3 (3rd Task Edition through CoAHS). The purpose of this add-on course is to provide students who took the 3rd Task Edition courses 2 and 3 with the additional information provided in the 4th Task Edition BCBA Course 2 and 4th Task Edition Course 3. This add-on course ensures that your coursework qualifies under BACB requirements for the certification exam in 2015 and beyond. This course is 15 hours long and covers 10 hours of "Implementation, Management, and Supervision" and 5 hours of "Intervention and Behavior Change Considerations."

    Please note that EDNU9065: BCBA 6 Ethics and Professional Conduct for Behavior Analysts is also required coursework for students who started in the 3rd Task Edition course series, but will now be testing under 4th Task Edition coursework.
