    This course covers scientifically based behavior change methods; functional assessment; observation methods; goal and objective writing; various reinforcement techniques; data collection and interpretation; and development and monitoring of an appropriate intervention based on the function of the problem behavior.   This course covers additional topics, including Pivotal Response Teaching and Discrete Trial Teaching.

    Equivalent to 45 hours of classroom time; 3 semester hours available through Brandman University’s Extended Education Department
